Sam's Bio
Sam entered the appraisal field in April 2017 and obtained his Certified General Appraiser Certification in July 2020. He then became a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute in March 2024. Sam has gained experience in a variety of assignments such as public acquisitions, federal land acquisitions (Yellow Book), charitable remainders, estate planning, shopping centers, office, retail and industrial buildings, single-family residences, multifamily properties, residential subdivisions, and more.
Sam grew up in Sherwood, Oregon and then attended Oregon State University (Go Beavs) on a Naval ROTC Scholarship. He graduated from OSU in 2013, where he also was Commissioned into the US Navy as an Ensign. Sam then spent two years in the Navy as a Public Affairs Officer.
He now resides in Tigard, Oregon with his wife Haley, son Leo, dog Olive, and two cats Timmy and PJ. Outside of the office, Sam enjoys spending time outside with his family as well as golfing, playing basketball, and attending as many Beaver and Blazer games that he can.
