The Tualatin-Sherwood Road Improvement project was designed to widen the current 3-lane road to 5 lanes – 2 travel lanes in each direction with a center turn lane. The project also includes the addition of a 12-foot multi-use path on each side of the road with additional bike lanes at intersections, an upgrade in drainage, traffic signals, and street lighting, and an installation of a 66-inch drinking water pipeline.
